Audits and Adventures
I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Australia for a business trip, where I supported a pharmacovigilance (PV) audit. While my primary purpose was work, I was fortunate enough to experience some of the amazing sights and activities that Australia has to offer.
The team's adventure began in Sydney, where the iconic Sydney Opera House was at the top of our must-see list. This architectural marvel is even more stunning in person, with its distinctive sail-like design shimmering against the backdrop of the harbor. It's a breathtaking sight sitting on the edge of the water.
One of the highlights of my trip was climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The breathtaking views from the top were worth every ounce of anxiety. Standing 440 feet above the harbor, I felt a rush of adrenaline and a sense of accomplishment as I gazed out over the stunning cityscape. The panoramic vistas of Sydney, the harbor, and the distant Blue Mountains were truly unforgettable.
The following day, we had the chance to explore the Blue Mountains a bit closer and walk the boardwalk from Bondi to Coogee. The stunning landscapes, with their rugged cliffs and lush forests, made for a perfect escape from the bustling city. I enjoyed hiking through scenic trails, surrounded by nature’s beauty, and even caught great views of the famous Three Sisters rock formation.
No trip to Australia would be complete without encountering some of its unique wildlife. I had the fantastic experience of feeding kangaroos at a wildlife park. These gentle creatures were surprisingly friendly, and it was delightful to get up close and personal with them. And of course, I couldn't resist taking pictures with the adorable koalas! Snuggling up next to these cuddly creatures made for some truly memorable moments.
